The University of Texas at Austin Math Teachers’ Circle
Please join us in person for dinner & active mathematics led by Dr. Lorenzo Sadun of UT Austin!
The Intermediate Value Theorem says that a function that goes from negative to positive (or vice-versa) either has to pass through zero or has to jump. This simple idea is the key to finding solutions to a LOT of hard problems. In this session, we’ll conquer a few of them.
Participants earn two CPE hours for each session. We request that you register by noon on January 25 so that we have the needed information for your CPE certificate, the food order, and parking validations.
Please register here by 12 pm on January 25 as dinner is provided for participants.
Shhhh…there will be Girl Scout Cookies for dessert!
