Get to Know SF Math Circle
January 23 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
At the San Francisco Math Circle, we make math accessible, inclusive, and fun!
The SF Math Circle is an extracurricular math enrichment program that helps students to develop their mathematical thinking skills in a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment. In our after-school classes and camps, we promote positive attitudes towards math and learning through engaging, hands-on puzzles and games that involve both creativity and critical thinking.
We’re hosting an online Get to Know SF Math Circle event on Sunday, 1/23. At this event, we’ll have:
– Trial Virtual Math Circle classes for 2nd-8th grade students ($10 registration fee)
– Information sessions for parents / guardians (FREE)
Both trial classes and information sessions will be offered via Zoom. Here’s the schedule (one trial class and one information session per time slot):
9:00-9:45am: 2nd-3rd grade
10:00-10:45am: 4th-5th grade
11:00-11:45am: 6th-8th grade
(Note: All times are Pacific Time.)
This is a great opportunity for students and families who haven’t participated in our Virtual Math Circle before to try it out and learn more about it!
