This lesson of Math Circle Seminar at Kansas State University is a special session co-organized with Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. The group of the seminar was invited to visit the museum after hours to discuss art objects in the collection that involve symmetry, to solve some related math problems and to work on hand-on activities. The sessions was split into two groups: grades 1-4 and grades 5-8. The attached plan was adjusted to the level of each group. For example, students of grades 5-8 discuss the proof of the classification of regular polyhedra, and students of grades 1-4 do more hand-on activities.
