Tsehootsooi Intermediate Learning Center (TILC) Math Circle

The TILC Math Circle is a school-based after-school Math Circle primarily focused on working with students in 5th and 6th grades in Window Rock Unified School District.

Student-participants meet weekly throughout the school year. Sessions are co-facilitated by 5th and 6th grade teachers who attend and participate in on-going Math Teacher Workshops hosted by the Navajo Nation Math Circles Project at Dine College in Tsaile, Arizona.

The TILC Math Circle was co-founded by Duane Yazzie and Berlinda Yazza in the Spring of 2015 with support from the co-directors of the Navajo Nation Math Circles Project.
