Oshkosh Math Teachers' Circle

The Oshkosh Math Teachers' Circle is an informal meeting of math professors at UW Oshkosh and middle and high school math teachers from around Northeast Wisconsin. We meet once a month in the evening to work on interesting problems or topics in mathematics and mathematics education, in a relaxed setting. Teachers and mathematicians work together in solving rich problems that can generate conversations about teaching, problem-solving strategies and a variety of mathematical concepts in the secondary curriculum. Our goal is to support teaching through mathematical problem solving and to create an ongoing, supportive, and collaborative community of teachers, mathematicians, and mathematics educators.
